There are several transport options you can chose

The true attraction of Sulina are its beaches, the clear water, clean air, the country ambiance. There are also some tourist objectives to see, such as the old lighthouse built in 1865 or the Sailor’s Cemetery with its legends, the water tower or the European Comision of the Danube Palace built in 1868. You can get to Sulina by water only and we recommend you a few options. For transportation there are 2 boat transports on regulate intervals that leave from a dock in Tulcea about 200 meters away from the main parking place next to the Vehicle Station there.

There are the following options for transport :

1. The classical boat (departure at 13:30 from Tulcea) arrives in 4 hours; informative price 52 RON/person
2. The Hydrofoil boat (departure at 13:00 from Tulcea) arrives in 1 hour 30 minutes. For this boat you must make bookings ahead of time both for arrival and departure (phone: 0720303893 and 0737259337); informative price: 60 RON/person
3. Privat transportation: multiple transport trips per day

If u use your personal car to travel to Tulcea, you can leave the car in the main parking lot mentioned above which is guarded. In case u wish to go fishing or hunting please acquire your fishing/hunting clearance before arriving in Sulina. This can be done in Tulcea at the A.J.V.P.S. building on Street Isaccea.
